Who are the Jaycees?

The Jaycees are an internationally recognized leadership-training organization for people between the ages of 18 up to 40. Leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in chapter activities, project management, community service, training sessions, and serving on the Board of Directors.

For over 80 years, the Jaycees have been involved in community service in America and around the world. The Jaycees build parks, hospitals, playgrounds, and conduct other services as well as support programs in thousands of communities. The Jaycees have raised millions of dollars for causes such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the March of Dimes.

This organization offers a chance to develop and utilize skills that can provide in career advancement and personal growth. Through projects and social events, lifetime friendships are developed.

Who are the Farmington Area Jaycees?

We are men and women between the ages of 21 and 40 who have diverse backgrounds and different life experiences.  Many of us live in Farmington/Farmington Hills but we have members who are from surrounding communities such as:
